Sub-measure 2.1.2 Digitisation of public geodetic registers

The Spatial Information System of the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship will be a regional, open, digital platform integrating reference and domain information resources of a spatial nature, designed to provide the public and public institutions with universal access to public information, especially to spatial information. The material scope of the project includes the creation of harmonised databases and the supply and implementation of ICT infrastructure and software necessary for their processing.

The project implementation schedule includes:

  1. Provision of services of a Project Engineer responsible for specialist support of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship Self-Government in the project “Construction and implementation of the Spatial Information System of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship SIPWW”.
  2. Acquisition and processing of data on SIPWW databases, i.e. databases of the state geodetic and cartographic resource, including in particular the BDOT10k database.
  3. Carrying out modernisation works in the server room.
  4. Delivery, installation, configuration and start-up of ICT infrastructure with standard and system software, delivery, configuration and implementation of GIS application components, development and supply of the SIPWW thematic database and metadata, training in the use of the delivered system components (ICT infrastructure and software).
  5. Promotion of the project.
  6. Conducting ICT infrastructure tests, including security tests of the SIPWW information system.
  7. Ongoing tasks related to the SIPWW project.

The strategic objective of the project is to support activities aimed at improving the competitiveness of the region through the creation of a regional (provincial) open digital platform, integrating reference and domain information resources of a spatial nature.

Other strategic objectives:

  • To provide uniform and up-to-date integrated spatial information from multiple dispersed source resources for information systems supporting the management of local government units in the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship
  • Improvement of the performance of tasks of the Self-Government of the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship
  • Increased investment and tourism attractiveness of the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship
  • Increasing the efficiency of integrated management at the regional level, including support for planning tasks and environmental protection
  • Strengthen the image and promotion of the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship
  • Contribution to improvement of management of spatial information infrastructure at the national level
  • Bringing IT systems and data resources up to regulatory requirements.
