  • The SIPWW system is a typical geoportal (contains maps) and as such is exempt from the obligation to meet the accessibility standards set out in the WCAG 2.1 specification, in accordance with the provisions of the Act of April 4, 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities (Journal of Laws item 848). The Act on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities does not apply to elements of websites and mobile applications containing: maps and interactive maps, including geoportals, provided that in the case of interactive maps and geoportals intended for navigation applications, contact details and geographical location are presented in a digitally accessible way. It is impossible to meet all requirements related to digital accessibility in the case of the PDS system. The Central Statistical Office has made every effort to improve the comfort of working with the application for people with disabilities.
  • The page has elements that are not available from the keyboard and are incorrectly read by a screen reader.

Entrance accessibility

The main entrance to the building is located at al. independence. The revolving door and the parallel push-button door for people with special needs are on the same level as the area around the building. The entrance is open to the public during the Office’s working hours, i.e. from Monday to Friday from 07.30 to 15.30.

Parking availability

Next to the building from ul. st. Barbara, there are two publicly available free parking spaces for people with special needs. In case of full occupancy, please contact building security at the telephone number located on the façade opposite the parking spaces.

Hardened access leads to the building. No difficulties with the entry of a wheelchair from the parking space to the access leading to the building.

Near the building there are public transport stops called “Urząd Marszałkowski”. The Office can be reached by bus number 168, 169 and 171.

Building accessibility

In front of the entrance door to the building, there is a TOTUPOINT marker, indicating the main entrance of the Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska Region in Poznań and informing about the spatial layout of storeys 0 and 1 of the building. On the ground floor of the building, opposite the main entrance, there is an Information Point, operated by an employee using sign language and equipped with an induction loop.

Access to the upper floors is ensured by a set of four passenger elevators with voice information, located in the main hall. The buttons on the elevator call boards have markings convenient for people with special needs. The lift adapted for people with special needs is marked. In the main hall there are stairs leading to the first floor, marked in a way that facilitates the movement of the blind and visually impaired. On the first floor there is the Main Information Point of European Funds, equipped with an induction loop and access to online sign language translation.

On floor 0 and on floors 2 to 11 there are hygienic and sanitary rooms adapted for people with special needs, equipped with a paging system (bells).

You can enter the building with an assistance dog and a guide dog.

The Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska Region in Poznań has developed procedures for the evacuation of people with disabilities.

If it is impossible to reach a given Office unit located on the upper floors on your own, it is possible for an employee to descend or get help in bringing you to a given floor. In order to obtain assistance, please contact an employee of the Information Point located in the main hall.

Entrance accessibility

Entrance for external clients to the building complex through the main entrance in building A (entrances to buildings B and C are available only to employees). The entrance is open to the public during the Office’s working hours, i.e. from Monday to Friday from 07.30 to 15.30.

In front of buildings A and C there is a pedestrian path along the street, marked with guiding lines. Going perpendicularly from the street, you enter a square with five trees and green belts. Next are six steps marked by contrast and tactile. On the left there is a driveway with handrails. In front of the building itself there are another stairs (six steps); the first and last steps are contrast and tactile marked. It is possible to bypass the stairs by turning left, towards the parking lot of the office at the side of the building.

The entrance from the parking lot to the platform leading to the entrance door is adapted for wheelchairs. You can also get to the platform by six steps from ul. Father Honorius Kowalczyk. The first and last steps are contrast and tactile marked.

The doors in building A are glazed, marked with warning stripes contrasting with the surroundings. The door opens automatically.

Parking availability

There are public car parks with spaces for people with disabilities next to the building complex. It is possible to park in the office car park at the entrance to building A, after prior notification of such a need (spaces at the side of the building, behind the barrier opened by the receptionist).

Building accessibility

Behind the entrance door there is a vestibule with an available maneuvering area. There is a porter’s lodge on the left. Entrance through the second glazed door, marked with warning stripes contrasting with the surroundings, opened automatically to the hall with rectangular pillars (three on the left and three on the right).

There is an information desk in the lobby on the right, which you should report to when you enter the building. An employee of the information point will contact an employee of the appropriate organizational unit. Customer service takes place in a designated place.

There is a quiet service room for people with special needs in the lobby of the building next to the information desk.

In the hall on the right there are two lifts adapted for people with disabilities. A staircase with handrails on both sides leads from the lobby to the mezzanine and upper floors. In buildings A and C there are also staircases and elevators (at the connector of buildings B and C there is an elevator adapted for people with disabilities). Customers can move between buildings (buildings A and B – on five floors, buildings B and C – on the ground floor and three floors).

There are no architectural barriers in connectors B and C on the ground and first floors, there are stairs on the second and third floors. There are platforms for people with disabilities by the stairs. The platforms are marked and equipped with an instruction manual. No slipway. In the passage between buildings B and C there is a lift adapted for people with disabilities.

Between the building’s connectors on each floor there are glass doors marked with warning stripes contrasting with the surroundings.

Buildings A, B and C are clearly marked. Braille signs are only in the lifts and at the entrances to the toilets.

Entrance accessibility

The main entrance to the building is located from ul. Kosciuszko. The entrance to the building is on the same level as the area around the building. Hardened access leads to the building. Entrance through doors that do not open automatically. The door is opened with the right wing, the left wing can be opened.

The entrance is open to the public during the Office’s working hours, i.e. from Monday to Friday from 07.30 to 15.30.

Parking availability

There is one parking space for people with special needs in front of the building. Along the street where the building is located, there are public parking spaces, including for people with disabilities.

Building accessibility

Behind the entrance door there is a vestibule with limited maneuvering space. In the vestibule straight ahead there is a porter’s lodge with a counter for standing people.

Access to the first floor for people with special needs is provided by a stair platform.

In the building on the first floor there is a hygiene and sanitary room adapted for people with special needs.

You can enter the building with an assistance dog and a guide dog.

If it is impossible to reach a given Office unit located on the upper floors on your own, it is possible for an employee to descend or get help in bringing you to a given floor. In order to obtain help, please contact the security guard whose room is located at the main entrance.

ul. Piekary 17, 61-823 Poznań

Entrance accessibility

The main entrance to the building is located from ul. Piekary. The doors slide automatically and are at the same level as the area around the building. The doors are glazed and taped with a contrast tape to make them visible to the visually impaired. The entrance is open to the public from Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 18:00.

Parking availability

There are no designated parking spaces for people with disabilities next to the building. The nearest parking spaces for people with disabilities are in the paid parking lot in Galeria MM at ul. Saint Martin 24.

Building accessibility

At the entrance door there is a building security station with an induction loop. There are 2 passenger elevators in the building. The buttons of the calling elevator (as well as inside the elevator) have markings convenient for the blind and voice information about the given floor.

The edges of the stairs on each floor (first and last steps) are marked with a contrasting and non-slip tape.

In the building on the first floor there is a hygienic and sanitary room adapted for people with special needs, equipped with a system of calling for help.

You can enter the building with an assistance dog and a guide dog.

Sound and light signals are provided for evacuation.

If it is impossible to reach a given room on the upper floors on your own, it is possible for an employee to come down or get help in bringing you to a given floor. In order to obtain help, please contact the security guard whose room is located at the main entrance.

Information and communication accessibility

In each of the Office’s locations there is an information board and an information point or a porter’s lodge. The name of the organizational units of the Office located in the building along with the numbers of floors and rooms are placed on the board. Voice information about the layout of rooms in the building can be obtained at the information point or at the porter’s lodge.

The website of the UMWW contains information about the scope of the Office’s activities in Polish Sign Language and in machine-readable text.
